The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress, be technically proficient, and be capable of ensuring our sites are secure, up-to-date, and performing at peak efficiency.

With a fast-growing client base, they need to add a talented and skilled webmaster to keep up with new projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a webmaster, you will be responsible for managing all the WordPress websites we create and maintain for clients, as well as our company’s own website. Your regular duties will be:
- Manage and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Perform regular site updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
- Optimise website performance, load speed, and SEO best practices.
- Implement and manage website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to update and improve site content and user experience.
- Monitor site security and handle malware prevention/removal.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage hosting environments and domain settings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
- Proven experience as a webmaster or WordPress developer.
- Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and website performance tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse).
- Understanding of web hosting, DNS, and domain management.
- Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based e-commerce solutions.
- Knowledge of website security best practices (e.g., SSL, firewalls, backups).
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or CRM integrations.
