Our client is seeking a Compliance Officer (Part-Time / Outsourced) to support their CASP license application and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the company’s adherence to regulatory obligations and supporting its licensing process:
Support and oversee the CASP license application process
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with CySEC requirements
Ensure compliance with MiCA, the Investment Services Law, and relevant regulatory frameworks
Act as the main point of contact with CySEC and other regulatory authorities
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation
Monitor internal processes and controls to ensure ongoing compliance
Provide guidance to management on regulatory matters and risk mitigation
Conduct compliance reviews and ensure corrective actions are implemented where necessary
Stay up to date with regulatory developments and advise on their impact on the business
Requirements
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
Certified Person listed in CySEC’s Public Register (mandatory)
Proven experience in a Compliance Officer role within financial services
Strong knowledge of MiCA, CySEC regulations, and the Investment Services Law
Previous experience with CASP or CIF licensing will be considered a strong advantage
Excellent communication and organizational skills
High level of integrity and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a part-time or outsourced capacity
Cyprus residency is required
