We are looking for a dedicated Tax Mobility Expert, who has relevant experience in preparing business tax returns and annual statements of income. The successful candidate must be comfortable acting as the primary contact person for various service lines and representing companies before various institutions.
About the Company:
Our client is a leading professional company specialised in company formation, tax advisory and other related professional services. They are looking for a dynamic and career-oriented Tax Advisory expert to join their team in Vilnius, Lithuania.
What You’ll Do:
As a Tax Mobility Expert, your main duty will involve engaging in a wide range of tax-related duties, both simple and complex. You must have a thorough understanding of cross-border tax issues and provide advisory to local and international clients.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Engage in simple and complex tax matters. Provide tax consultancy, and write tax memos.
- Engage in tax assessments and tax audits.
- Process monthly tax return forms and ensure tax compliance. Preparation of the taxpayer’s annual statement of income.
- Assistance in bookkeeping, preparing reports for the clients, preparation of compulsory reports for authorities
- Become the primary point of contact for one or more service lines (as directed by your manager). Apply an understanding of business needs to identify critical outcomes, barriers to success, and changes in expectations or scope.
- Representing the company and clients before relevant institutions such as Tax Office, Labor Office, National Centre of Registration
- Prepare and submit any reports as required by the company’s management.
Requirements:
To succeed in this position, you must fulfil the following conditions:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 3 years of experience in tax mobility services. Multinational consulting experience will be considered as a plus.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of tax laws for Individuals. Experience with the preparation of personal income returns for domestic and mobile employees.
- Very good knowledge of labour legislation, and social & health insurance laws.
- Be proactive with the business, ensuring updates on assignment progress.
- Strong communication, analytical and organising skills. Team player
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
