We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to lead and coordinate software development projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will manage cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, maintain budget control, and communicate clearly with stakeholders and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client is a fast-growing managed software development company. With a growing client base and many ongoing projects, the company needs a capable project manager to orchestrate their perfect coordination.

What You’ll Do:

As a Project Manager, your main duties revolve around project planning, team coordination, and budget and risk management. You will also liaise with all the stakeholders and ensure timely delivery for each project, to the client’s satisfaction.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Initiation

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as roadmaps, requirements, and schedules.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

• Coordinate internal teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and external vendors.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability across the team.
• Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and regular check-ins.

3. Timeline & Budget Management

• Monitor project progress and performance against established milestones and budgets.
• Adjust timelines and resources as necessary to meet changing demands.
• Provide timely updates on project status and financial health.

4. Risk & Issue Management

• Identify and assess project risks and issues early.
• Proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the point of escalation for conflicts and problem resolution.

5. Stakeholder & Client Communication

• Act as the main liaison between internal teams and external clients.
• Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables clearly and consistently.
• Manage expectations and ensure alignment with client goals.

6. Quality Assurance & Delivery

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and functional requirements.
• Coordinate testing, feedback loops, and final deployment.
• Facilitate successful project handoffs to support and maintenance teams.

7. Tools & Methodologies

• Use project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar.
• Apply Agile/Scrum or other relevant methodologies to manage workflows effectively.
• Continuously seek to improve project processes and team productivity.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following conditions:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing software development projects.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
